Two years ago Emma Watson left a Facebook post of how excited she was to be a part of the live-action remake of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
As most might tell you, it was a little disturbing to hear that Disney was in the process of remaking a childhood favorite movie. How on earth could they do the original version justice? After an audio leak last week of a Belle doll with Emma Watson’s voice singing the iconic Beauty and the Beast ‘Something there’ all of the original magic was there in a highly distorted low-grade quality. But it was there. After the leak, co-producer Jack Morrissey confirmed, it was indeed Emma’s voice and the studio went ahead and released the first official snippet of Emma Watson singing. I have to say WOW! Those singing lessons have really been paying off. Listen below to hear for yourself.
A tale as old as time is set to hit theaters on March 17th, 2017 and I for one am excited to see the magic unfold once more. Below is the full trailer
